A Simple Gut Friendly Breakfast I Make Before School

Mornings can feel rushed, so I love having one go to breakfast that is quick, balanced, and gentle on the stomach. This is the breakfast I make most often before school because it keeps me full and calm through first period and does not leave my stomach upset.

Gut Friendly Morning Yogurt Bowl

Ingredients
• One cup of plain yogurt or a dairy free yogurt
• One handful of blueberries or strawberries
• One spoon of chia seeds
• A small drizzle of honey
• A sprinkle of granola

Directions
Add the yogurt to a bowl. Top it with fruit, chia seeds, and a little honey. Finish with a small handful of granola for crunch.

Why I love it
This breakfast gives protein, fiber, antioxidants, and nutrients that the gut loves. The chia seeds support digestion, the fruit gives natural sweetness, and the yogurt provides probiotics that help your gut feel supported.

If you want a warm version, replace the yogurt with oatmeal and add cinnamon for comfort. This recipe can be made the night before so your morning feels calmer and more organized. One nourishing choice at the start of the day can set the tone for your body and your mind.
