A Gut Friendly Snack to Share With Friends
Food brings people together, and snacks are one of the easiest ways to introduce gut friendly habits into your social life. This is a simple snack I like to make when friends come over to study or watch a movie. It feels fun and supportive for the gut at the same time.
Crispy Apple Cinnamon Bites
Ingredients
• Two apples
• One spoon of cinnamon
• One spoon of honey
• One small pinch of sea salt
Directions
Slice the apples into thin pieces. Add cinnamon and a small pinch of sea salt. Drizzle with honey. Bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for about twelve minutes or air fry for eight minutes.
Why teens love it
It tastes like a treat but still feels light on the stomach. Cinnamon supports digestion and apples contain fiber that helps the gut stay balanced. You can pair this with a small bowl of yogurt for dipping if you want something creamy.
Snacking with friends does not need to feel stressful or restrictive. You can still enjoy your favorite foods, and every now and then add a nourishing option to the table. Small changes do not take away the comfort of food. They simply add more care to the experience.
